The marketing funnel is one of those devices that appears to be everywhere these days. But not everyone really understands it.

And since I've worked at or with a variety of ad agencies, mostly on the West Coast, I have come to understand how some of these younger advertising professionals think, but also that many of them don't appreciate the marketing funnel.

So in the interest of bridging the gaps and helping to illuminate minds, the marketing funnel is provided here as a device to help explain how it works in the context of one of the newest and most popular ideas around: communism.

Although we don't know their exact words, the below chart attempts to demonstrate what these great marketing leaders may have been thinking in there amazing careers.
